A further 32 medical students were trained in IPLS at Adelaide Medical School, provided by four IPLS instructors. Once again well done for maintaining a regular programme benefiting our future doctors.
We continue to provide regular IPLS courses at Adelaide Medical School, with more medical students trained again this month.
IPLS continues to grow with the latest IPLS centre being established at Baghdad Medical College. After a successful trial version of the e-learning module, the IPLS course was integrated into the 6th year medical school curriculum. The first of four planned IPLS courses is provided at Adelaide Medical School in South Australia. Forty medical students were trained by Dr. Abdul-Razaq Musa, Dr. Jane Cocks, Dr. Jacquie Schultz and Senior Nurse Jackie Winters.
Dr. Abdul-Razaq Musa and Dr. Sinan Kamona provide IPLS training at the 11th Imamia Medics International conference at the Grand Millenium Hotel in Auckland, New Zealand. Eight candidates attended from various backgrounds including candidates from the UK, the USA, Australia and New Zealand. Well done to everyone involved.
Basra Medical College has trained 48 final year medical students over three days. They completed the e-learning and face to face modules. Great work once again from Basra. Well done Dr. Sawsan, Engineer Waeel and the rest of the team. Congratulations to all candidates!
Thirty-two 5th year medical students at the Univeristy of Adelaide attended IPLS training. The course was led by four Paediatric ED consultants: Dr Jane Cocks, Dr Fran Lockie, Dr Adrian Rozario and Dr Abdul Razaq Musa. Feedback was good with students wanting more of the same and longer courses! Well done to all.
