CWTH has its 15th IPLS course and includes candidates from all over Iraq!

The IPLS team at Children’s Welfare Teaching Hospital in Baghdad once again proves their commitment to training doctors and nurses in Paediatric Life Support by holding their 15th course so far. Their candidates included eight Paediatric Arab Board trainees from all over the country including Baghdad, Babylon, Najaf, Sulaymaniyah and Erbil in addition to an Emergency Medicine doctor and an academic nurse. This is the first time IPLS has been truly provided as a national course, as candidates have traveled from around the country to attend. We are very impressed with CWTH for what must have taken a lot of hard work and planning. We hope this will be the first of many similar courses around the country.

IPLS courses at all centres are open to candidates from anywhere in Iraq. If you are interested in attending a course you just need to contact the appropriate coordinator who you can find on this page. IPLS is rapidly becoming the standard for Paediatric Life Support training in Iraq and we encourage all Emergency and Paediatric doctors and nurses to attend.
