Another milestone in the story of IPLS! Al-Zahraa Medical College in Basra has just run their first formal IPLS course for a group of medical and nursing staff from Basra Children’s Teaching Hospital. We would like to thank all IPLS instructors, in particular Dr Jawad Ramadan Alkharsan (General Surgeon and Dean of Al-Zahraa Medical College) and Dr Rehab Abdulwehab Jaffar (General Paediatrician and Senior Lecturer at the Paediatrics Department).

Future plans at Al-Zahraa include running the e-learning and practical courses for medical students. Once again, the dependable Engineer Waeel is assisting them in this process.
