Misan Maternity and Babies Teaching Hospital provides its 14th IPLS course, the first in two years. Eight Arab Board candidates were trained. The team there have done a great job overcoming difficulties in order to provide this course. Well done to Dr. Hussein and his team, and all the candidates.
Adelaide Medical School provided the first IPLS course of the year to thirty medical students. Good work to all and thank you to the faculty including Dr Jane Cocks, Dr Fran Lockie, Dr Abdul Razaq Musa and Dr Jackie Winters.
Basra Medical College has carried out the second IPLS course for the 2021/2022 academic year. Sixth year medical students completed both the e-learning and practical modules. Well done to Basra once again and congratulations to all candidates.

The fourth and final IPLS course was provided to 5th year medical students at Adelaide Medical School at the Adelaide Health and Medical Science Lab. Thanks to all those who made it possible to have successful courses throughout 2021. Well done to all students!
Central Children’s Teaching Hospital provided a new IPLS course on the 12th and 13th July to postgraduate medical residents and nursing staff. Candidates found the course useful and particularly valued the scenario teaching. Well done to everyone involved.
Despite the recent Australian outbreaks of COVID-19, IPLS was able to be run at the University of Adelaide Medical School in South Australia. 30 medical students were trained by four PEM consultants and one PEM fellow.
