The fourth and final IPLS course was provided to 5th year medical students at Adelaide Medical School at the Adelaide Health and Medical Science Lab. Thanks to all those who made it possible to have successful courses throughout 2021. Well done to all students!
Central Children’s Teaching Hospital provided a new IPLS course on the 12th and 13th July to postgraduate medical residents and nursing staff. Candidates found the course useful and particularly valued the scenario teaching. Well done to everyone involved.
Despite the recent Australian outbreaks of COVID-19, IPLS was able to be run at the University of Adelaide Medical School in South Australia. 30 medical students were trained by four PEM consultants and one PEM fellow. Six Arab Board students and one nurse undertook the IPLS course at Central Children’s Teaching Hospital in Baghdad. Well done to the great team at CCTH and congratulations to all candidates. It is amazing that courses continue to be delivered despite all the challenges faced by everybody. Excellent work!

Once again Dr. Sawsan and her team provide IPLS to sixth year medical students, including both the e-learning and practical modules. Thanks again to all those involved at the Basra IPLS Faculty, the Paediatric Department and the engineering team headed by Engineer Waeel.
Despite these difficult times, Basra Medical College manages to safely provide the IPLS course to sixth year medical students.
