Misan Maternity and Babies Teaching Hospital provides its 14th IPLS course, the first in two years. Eight Arab Board candidates were trained. The team there have done a great job overcoming difficulties in order to provide this course. Well done to Dr. Hussein and his team, and all the candidates.

Dr. Hussein Fadhil Musa talks at the Misan Healthcare Conference about maintaining resuscitation skills and courses in Iraq and in Misan in particular. He highlights the importance of sustainability, continued support, repeating courses regularly and making them a core part of medical training.

The hard working IPLS instructors at Misan Maternity and Babies Teaching Hospital had their 10th IPLS course on the 15th and 16th of November. Both the Hospital Director and the Director of Misan Health were present. Excellent work and congratulations to candidates and instructors.
With the opening of the new Maternity and Babies Teaching Hospital in Misan, the IPLS centre will move there from December 2017. The course will continue to be provided by Dr Hussein and Dr Esraa.
